This site caught my attention, about a unique use of solar energy for healing!
The purpose of the Solar Healing Center is to help humanity to understand how the sun can be safely used to bring healing to the body, mind and spirit.
The Solar Healing Center was created by Hira Ratan Manek, a man from India who learned the ancient art of Sungazing to optimize his health.
Amazingly, this gentleman has not eaten food since 1995, and claims to get all the energy he needs from the sun and from drinking water. Apparently he will drink coffee, tea, or buttermilk for hospitality and social purposes.
Hira Ratan Manek has been touring, giving lectures, and sharing his experience with sungazing since 2002. He has also been the subject of several term scientific studies which have verified his health and the health of his eyes.
I don't recommend that you go out and start gazing at the sun, as the methods shared in this site are not tested except by a few people, but it is interesting!
The sungazing methods shared recommend ONLY sungazing for specified times at sunrise and sunset.
